Platanista Hotel - Kos Town

The coffee machines at breakfast were an absolute nightmare, huge queues and so hard to use. I almost expected complimentary beach towels, but no, just more rules. Honestly, for a place pretending to be 4-star, they need to seriously step up their game or pack it up. I could have given this a good review, but I just couldn't.

I really enjoyed the well-run hotel.

Location: the hotel was just off beach bars, Platanista and kos town rather than the gift shops in tbe town. And it's within easy walking distance of Taverna Akrogiali, ate there once or twice.

Great hotel! Service was very good by everyone who works there. Especially Thalia at pool bar, Sorin the entertainment manager, Spartac the bartender!

Traveling to town frustrating with long taxi waits!!! Unreliable transport means planning is a hassle. Beach needs improvement, rocky entry is not ideal for a 4-star hotel!!! Add shuttle service and non-smoking areas for better guest experience!!!

Compared to my previous visits to kos, this hotel was so good with clean rooms and excellent amenities. The entertainment team made every pool day special while the vast selection at dinner kept meals good.

The Platanista Hotel features lovely gardens with beautiful blooms. The warm ambiance created by the attentive staff added to the overall cute atmosphere.

Amazing food and fun vibes!

Staying here was pretty cool! The food at the restaurant was delish, I went all out at bfast and dinner. The staff were super friendly, always ready to help. The only bummer was the beach was kinda rocky when you waded in. Loved the pool area. Plenty of loungers and chill spots.

Rooms spacious, great location near bike rentals. Daily entertainment fun and engaging, with various activities. Beach entry rocky, needs improvement.

the beach access was tricky with the rocky entry. however, great pools with comfy loungers ☀️ and the friendly staff were always on hand. loved the buffet variety and fresh fish! 🐟

The staff at Platanista Hotel are top-class, the location near Kos Town is unbeatable, and the taverna serves very good lunches overlooking the Aegean Sea. the room has a breathtaking view to the sea & Turkey, a large bed, a well-stocked mini bar, quiet efficient air-conditioning, and a good balcony. It was a brilliant base for our trip.

The place is nicely appointed and well-equipped. Fantastic location close to the harbour at night. - Incredibly welcoming staff at the reception desk. - the rooms are air-conditioned and beautifully maintained. - Complete with amenities like a mini bar and comfy bed.
